Shipping Policy
At British Beef Jerky we have gone to great lengths to make sure your order is processed as smoothly as possible. To help avoid problems please read the following information.
Shipping and Handling
Depending on the size of the order, all shipping is by Royal Mail 1st class or Courier. Every effort will be made to make sure all orders are shipped as soon as possible. Shipping cut off time is usually 3pm Monday-Friday excluding Holidays.
Shipping Information
Please make sure that the shipping address you enter on the shipping information section is correct before checkout. Customers who do not provide a correct shipping address will be responsible for the additional charges needed for reshipping the order. Orders that are undeliverable because of incorrect information will be charged with the appropriate shipping charges. Therefore, recipients should make sure that their shipping information is correct and there is someone available to receive the order.
BFPO Orders
Please note that all items of mail must not exceed 2 kgs. Any items received at the BFPO sorting office that exceed this weight will be returned to sender.(BFPO Regulation) If a BFPO order is over weight we will split the order into multiple packs and post.

Make sure there is (1) space between BFPO and the number ie: BFPO 123. If this space is not present then it will recognize the military discount but not any FREE postings.
Please be advised that the Final destination Town and Country must NOT be included in the address.
For our shipping purposes please put the BFPO Number in the Post/Zip Code area and for City use London, for State/Province use London and Country use United Kingdom. Place all other shipping information in the available name and address boxes and we will reformat the information before sending. Families and friends in UK and BFPOs can send packets up to 2kg in weight, free of charge, to service personnel ONLY on Op HERRICK, Op KIPION and HM Ships in Support.

The FREE BFPO destinations are changing from time to time and we can not always keep up with the changes so with that in mind if you are entitled to FREE shipping and your BFPO isn't listed then let us know and we will make the needed changes.
Insurance/Claims
British Beef Jerky Ltd have a limited cover up to the value of £46 through the Royal Mail's compensation cover. This is subject to their terms and conditions.

Within that form you will note that we can not make a claim for lost mail for 15 days from the date the item was sent. British Beef Jerky Ltd strive to ensure that all orders are delivered accurately and as fast as possible. A proof of posting is obtained for every order. Recorded signed for and Special Delivery are available and recommended if you wish to track a parcel. However, there have been instances where orders have gone missing after being shipped by Royal Mail. In these instances, a claim will be made with Royal Mail at which time British Beef Jerky Ltd will re-ship the order to the customer as per Trading Standards Guidence we have 30 days from the date the products were ordered in which to deliver same order or make a full refund.
Confirmed Address
For the customer's protection, unless previously negotiated, British Beef Jerky Ltd ship only to the buyer's confirmed address as verified against the credit card billing address maintained by the buyer's credit card company. In other words as long as the billing address you supply matches the billing address of the credit card when it is processed by World Pay we will ship to an alternate address. You are allowed up to 5 stored shipping address in your address book in your account.
Shipping and Handling Charges
The shopping cart system automatically calculates shipping charges on online orders. If there is a discrepancy regarding the shipping fees calculated and the actual shipping fee, these shipping costs will be added to your order. All customers providing an email address will receive an order confirmation outlining the total amount of the order, including shipping charges.VAT is applied ONLY to any shipping or handling costs which might be part of the total cost.
Non-Deliverable Orders Returned
If any order is returned to us, through no fault of our own, we will not be responsible for bearing the cost of re-shipping the order. The cost of re-shipping any order will be the responsibility of the customer or we will refund the cost of the products purchased ONLY and not the cost of the original shipping. Refunds will be refunded through the Debit/Credit card with which the original purchase was made.

Customs
British Beef Jerky ships all international orders with customs forms listing the contents and the value of the package(s). Consequently, since customs charges vary from country to country, recipients of international orders are accountable for all duties, taxes or tariffs as mandated by their country/government.
International Shipping Disclaimer
Due to the complexity of Custom authorities in some countries, shipments may be subject to custom inspections, which might cause unexpected shipment delays. British Beef Jerky assumes no responsibility for delays, import duties, taxes or confiscation of any products by customs inspectors or other personnel; neither do we guarantee delivery time whenever custom delays occur. However, we will try our best to deliver your order to you with maximum effort.
If a customer fails to accept delivery or pick up a product within 30 days from the shipping date, British Beef Jerky has the right to sell, dispose of, or use any such products in any way the company chooses.
Courier Service
Courier only delivers Monday - Friday. Orders must be received by us before 9am in order for them to ship on that day.
