Shipping Policy
At Mr. BBQ (British Beef Jerky) we have gone to great lengths to make sure your order is processed as smoothly as possible. To help avoid problems please read the following information.
Shipping and Handling
Depending on the size of the order, all shipping is by Royal Mail 1st class or Courier. Every effort will be made to make sure all orders are shipped as soon as possible.
Shipping Information
Please make sure that the shipping address you enter on the shipping information section is correct before checkout. Customers who do not provide a correct shipping address will be responsible for the additional charges needed for reshipping the order. Orders that are undeliverable because of incorrect information will be charged with the appropriate shipping charges. Therefore, recipients should make sure that their shipping information is correct and there is someone available to receive the order.
BFPO Orders
Please note that all items of mail must not exceed 2 kgs. Any items received at the BFPO sorting office that exceed this weight will be returned to sender.(BFPO Regulation) If a BFPO order is over weight we will split the order into multiple packs and post.

Place all other shipping information in the available name and address boxes and we will reformat the information before sending. The FREE BFPO destinations are changing from time to time and we can not always keep up with the changes so with that in mind if you are entitled to FREE shipping and your BFPO isn't listed then let us know and we will make the needed changes.
Insurance/Claims
Mr BBQ Ltd have a limited cover up to the value of £34 through the Royal Mail's compensation cover. This is subject to their terms and conditions.
For Royal Mail's terms and conditions for compensation click here. Form P58 with which a claim is made is located here. Within that form you will note that we can not make a claim for lost mail for 15 days from the date the item was sent. Mr BBQ Ltd strive to ensure that all orders are delivered accurately and as fast as possible. A proof of posting is obtained for every order. Recorded signed for is available and recommended if you wish to track a parcel. However, there have been instances where orders have gone missing after being shipped by Royal Mail. In these instances, a claim will be made with Royal Mail and forms will be sent to the customer which must be filled out and returned to Royal Mail in order that Mr BBQ Ltd can receive compensation for the lost shipment, at which time Mr BBQ Ltd will re-ship the order to the customer. We will not ship out a replacement order until we receive compensation from the Royal Mail. We regret having to take this position but we were rejected on too many claims in which we did replace the order and the customer did not fill out and return the Royal Mail claim form which was sent to them after they received their replacement order.
Confirmed Address
For the customer's protection, unless previously negotiated, Mr BBQ Ltd ship only to the buyer's confirmed address as verified against the credit card billing address maintained by the buyer's credit card company. In other words as long as the billing address you supply matches the billing address of the credit card when it is processed by World Pay we will ship to an alternate address. You are allowed up to 5 stored shipping address in your address book in your account.
Shipping and Handling Charges
The shopping cart system automatically calculates shipping charges on online orders. If there is a discrepancy regarding the shipping fees calculated and the actual shipping fee, these shipping costs will be added to your order. All customers providing an email address will receive an order confirmation outlining the total amount of the order, including shipping charges.VAT is applied ONLY to any shipping or handling costs which might be part of the total cost.
Non-Deliverable Orders Returned
If any order is returned to us, through no fault of our own, we will not be responsible for bearing the cost of re-shipping the order. The cost of re-shipping any order will be the responsibility of the customer or we will refund the cost of the products purchased ONLY and not the cost of the original shipping. Refunds will be refunded through the Debit/Credit card with which the original purchase was made.
International Shipping Restrictions
Please contact your local custom authorities regarding shipping restrictions to your country and whether you need prior approval to permit transport of food products. We will ship ONLY to EU member countries:

Customs
Mr. BBQ (British Beef Jerky) ships all international orders with customs forms listing the contents and the value of the package(s). Consequently, since customs charges vary from country to country, recipients of international orders are accountable for all duties, taxes or tariffs as mandated by their country/government.
International Shipping Disclaimer
Due to the complexity of Custom authorities in some countries, shipments may be subject to custom inspections, which might cause unexpected shipment delays. Mr. BBQ (British Beef Jerky) assumes no responsibility for delays, import duties, taxes or confiscation of any products by customs inspectors or other personnel; neither do we guarantee delivery time whenever custom delays occur. However, we will try our best to deliver your order to you with maximum effort.
If a customer fails to accept delivery or pick up a product within 30 days from the shipping date, Mr. BBQ (British Beef Jerky) has the right to sell, dispose of, or use any such products in any way the company chooses.
UKMail Courier Service
UKMail only picks up and delivers Monday - Friday. Orders must be received by us before 10am in order for them to ship on that day.
